I take pride in the quality of service I give to all my clients. I believe that my job is to provide my clients with an education to help them make good, solid and well informed business decisions about real estate. In a purchase or sale of an investment property, purchase or sale of a location for their business, or a lease for their business location I strive to show my clients how to maximize the return on the investment.
I am proud of my involvement with helping my clients. It gives me great satisfaction to see them succeed and believe (that at least in a small part) my involvement has helped them succeed.
Right after college I opened an Art Gallery in Downtown Bellingham and experienced the need to work as a janitor to keep my business open. The gallery was a great experience (and I have no regrets) but I did keep a failing business open way longer that it should have been. I learned from this.
I was offered a job in property management with Morris Piha Management Group (Bellevue, WA). This started me on an eleven-year history working with Morrie Piha where I was working directly under him as Vice President managing and leasing his personal properties in Downtown Bellingham. I am both lucky and proud to have been mentored directly by Morrie. I left the company as Morrie was selling his Bellingham assets (I was not willing to relocate to Bellevue) and went to work with Pacific Continental Realty, which I purchased in 2000.
Over the years I have had experience with major purchases and sales, fires, floods, major and minor construction projects, major and minor property related lawsuits, as well as leasing issues for large and small tenants. My clients benefit from the experiences I have had in this industry since the early 1980’s.
