Scott has an extensive background in the fields of business, law, real estate development and finance, construction, leasing, and sales. His experience, skills, education, and personal warmth enable him to quickly find solutions to complex issues with all personality types. After practicing law for 18 years, Scott served as an executive with six different local companies. Scott was chosen 2008 Whatcom County Business Person of the Year by Whatcom Business Monthly magazine. He was the Chairman of the Board of the World Floor Covering Association headquartered in Georgia through 2016, and he has also served on several other boards for companies and non-profit organizations. Scott is a graduate of Sehome High, Whitman (Economics), Northwestern (JD), and George Washington University (LLM). He is a veteran (Navy JAG) and was a long-time member of Bellingham Bay Rotary.
