A high percentage of the retail development in Marysville is located on the Tulalip Reservation, which is located on the western side of the I-5 corridor adjacent to Marysville. The Seattle Premium Outlets is one of the largest retail centers north of Seattle. The Seattle Premium Outlets is a major location for premium big box retail businesses.
North of Tulalip, Smokey Point is currently an area with strong economic growth in the retail sector. Smokey Point is a popular location for retail businesses because of the proximity to Tulalip and I-5.
